Luton-based Trumpf UK has appointed a new area sales manager to cover the South West of the UK.

Mike Brueton will be responsible for the sale of the company’s entire range of manufacturing technology solutions.

Mr Brueton brings years’ of experience to his new role after spending much of his working life in machine tool and software systems sales.

Laser systems, punching machines and press brakes were his focus in the early 90s. He then spent 22 years in 2D and 3D CAD/CAM software sales and off-line programming software and laser cutting, punching and bending.

Trumpf offers production solutions in the machine tool, laser and electronics sectors. The company is a leader in machine tools used in flexible sheetmetal processing, and also for industrial lasers.

With more than 70 subsidiaries, the group is represented in nearly every European country, in North and South America and in Asia. Production facilities are located in Germany, France, Great Britain, Italy, Austria and Switzerland, Poland, the Czech Republic, USA, Mexico and China.
